Training Coordinator

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour, increasing to $25.00 per hour after 90 days

Shift: 09:00–17:00, 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday) - Flexible as Needed

Travel Areas: New Albany, Millersport, Lewis Center, Johnstown, and sometimes Dublin

The Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, delivering, and tracking training for security personnel, with a primary focus on Supervisors at construction sites and follow‑up engagement with Security Officers. This role requires a minimum of 2+ years of supervisory experience and demonstrated skills in developing and conducting training. A background in training and safety is required. The Coordinator must have reliable transportation to travel between sites and the office as needed. Candidates for this position will be interviewed and selected in coordination with Operations leadership.

• Training may be conducted on-site during the day, evening, and/or overnight hours, or a combination of.
• Trains employees and job candidates; conducts new employee orientation, mandatory licensing training, on-the-job training, and training in health and safety practices.
• Acts to ensure compliance with legally mandated, contractual, and company mandated training requirements; documents training as required for purposes of licensing and under the terms of client contracts.
• Confers with managers and supervisors to determine training needs and approaches.
• Develops training schedules in conjunction with management; coordinates training activities so as not to conflict with client service schedules.
• Follows appropriate instructional procedures or methods, such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role playing, and computer-based training.
• Organizes training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation materials, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
• Maintains records and prepares reports to evaluate performance of training activities, and to monitor progress of trainees.
• Performs tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned office.

Experience:

2 years of experience in the security industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Additional relevant experience can be substituted for the required education.

• If required for assignment, must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
