This is an hourly role that will report to an area Superintendent. The Training Coordinator is responsible for tracking, sourcing, scheduling and ensuring completion of all aspects of training onsite. This role will work closely with all department and team leaders to ensure alignment with all training policies and procedures, and for ensuring continuous improvement in the training process. Competitive Pay – $25.00 per hour.Key Functions include, but are not limited to:Schedule and coordinate new hire orientationAssist new hires in completing all on-line training coursesProvide external contractor on-boardingTrack and schedule maintenance training for skills progressionManage site training programs and requirementsMaintain site training databaseMaintain training records for all mill associates, including filing completed training documents into training foldersAssist with maintaining SEEDS databaseVacation back-up for site administration and payrollAble to flow to the work as needed including operating production equipment and designated floor tasksQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDThree (3) years previous work experience in a clerical support position OR three years previous manufacturing experience in an hourly leadership role or safety roleMust be able to promote and ensure compliance with safety initiativesExcellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skillsAbility to build and maintain positive relationships with all associatesExcellent work ethic with initiative to get things doneWillingness to support a 24/7 operating environment, which includes willingness to work any shift, weekends and holidays as conditions requireGood judgment and decision-making skillsResume detailing your education and work history is required for considerationDemonstrated proficiency in MS Office and Excel and other windows based programsThe following qualifications are preferred:Experience with SAP, Maximo, or other CMMS software systemPrevious work experience in a manufacturing environmentAbout Wood Products:We've been delivering quality building products and solutions to our customers for more than 100 years.
