Job summary

Weyerhaeuser's Dodson, Louisiana Lumber Facility seeks a Training Coordinator. This hourly role reports to an area Superintendent and focuses on tracking, sourcing, scheduling, and ensuring completion of onsite training with cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities include orientation, online courses, contractor onboarding, and maintaining training records, with occasional production floor tasks. Strong MS Office skills and a safety-first mindset are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years of clerical or hourly leadership/manufacturing experience.
• Promote and ensure safety initiatives.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
• Able to build and maintain relationships with associates.
• Strong work ethic and initiative to complete tasks.
• Willingness to support a 24/7 operating environment and various shifts.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Resume detailing education and work history required.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Windows-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate new hire orientation.
• Assist new hires with online training courses.
• Provide external contractor onboarding.
• Track and schedule maintenance training for skills progression.
• Manage site training programs and requirements.
• Maintain site training database and records.
• Assist with SEEDS database maintenance.
• Vacation backup for site administration and payroll.
• Flow to production as needed, including floor tasks.
