Job summary

Job Juncture in Waterloo, IA seeks a Training Manager to lead onboarding and ongoing skills and compliance training across the organization. You will ensure employees in all departments are trained efficiently, safely, and per company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include developing OSHA curricula, PPE safety, and production-area training such as reading blueprints, welding basics, and assembly procedures, while maintaining training records and ensuring audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Business or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in training, learning & development, or a related role.
• Experience delivering training across multiple departments or functions; familiarity with production processes such as welding or metal fabrication is a plus.
• Proven ability to design and deliver hands-on technical training across a variety of departments and job functions.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry-specific compliance requirements.
• Basic understanding of shop math, reading blueprints, specifications, and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills including managing training records and certification tracking.
• Attention to quality and pride in workmanship.
• Effective communication for training employees across experience levels and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and ongoing skills training across the organization to ensure compliance and safety.
• Develop and maintain training curricula, checklists, and SOPs.
• Deliver structured onboarding for new hires, including department-specific skills and safety procedures.
• Assess and track training effectiveness using assessments and performance metrics.
• Coordinate training for new equipment, tooling, and process changes with engineering and operations.
• Maintain training materials, handouts, and e-learning content.
