Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Training Manager to lead onboarding and ongoing skills and compliance training across the organization in Waterloo, IA. You will work with department leaders to tailor role-specific curricula and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory adherence.

The role requires a Bachelor's in HR/education/business and 3–5 years in training and development. Strong communication, organizational skills, and familiarity with OSHA and production processes are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Business, or related field is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in training, learning & development or a related role.
• Experience delivering training across multiple departments; familiarity with production processes is a plus.
• Strong ability to design and deliver hands-on technical training and assess competency.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and ongoing skills and compliance training across the organization.
• Develop and maintain training curricula including OSHA requirements and PPE use.
• Coordinate training for new equipment, tooling, systems, or process changes.
• Deliver structured onboarding training for new employees company-wide.
• Administer internal skills assessments and evaluate readiness through observations.
• Track and manage training records, certifications, and renewal schedules.
• Maintain training materials, SOPs, and e-learning content.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment and enforce PPE usage.
• Identify safety hazards and contribute to continuous improvement.
