Job Description
Provides support for professional development activities by performing a variety of duties associated with a high volume training department. Assists with the coordination and organization of professional development and special events. Provides administrative support to the department. Assists with purchasing and budget maintenance. Implements and carries out internal department procedures such as inventory control to ensure department accountability.
Education/Certification
- Accredited Senior High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma / GED (Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in job training programs, major projects, or related activities may substitute for education
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to speak in public
- Ability to work independently when coordinating training events
- Highly organized, punctual and responsible
- Driven and problem-solver
- Business and results oriented person
- Able to perform as part of a team
- Computer skills (i.e. Google suite of products and Microsoft Office)
- Ability to travel as needed
Primary Duties
- Work with Training Coordinator on the scheduling of training events.
- Prepare training documentation such as training manuals / handouts for participants.
- Use various systems to update and maintain product inventory includes database tables, word processing and spreadsheets.
- Maintain training calendar with important documentation needed by multiple departments for training event tracking.
- Coordinate the preparation of training sessions, ensure all necessary equipment and supplies requested are made available to the presenters and attendees.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of training certificates for those who attend classes.
- Maintain registration through SurveyMonkey and Google Forms by creating registration links and exporting data to shared spreadsheets.
- Work closely with Director of Training to ensure attendees are accommodated as needed during training events.
- All other duties as assigned.
