Delaware State Fire School is seeking an experienced administrator to lead emergency services training and supervise daily facility operations. The role includes coordinating statewide teams, planning, organizing, and implementing training programs in firefighting, rescue, and EMS to ensure students gain essential skills.
The position emphasizes curriculum development, data analysis for program quality, and collaboration across diverse partners.
This position is responsible for an administrative level emergency services training and supervises the daily operation of the physical facility of the Delaware State Fire School.� A significant aspect of this position is serving as a member of several statewide emergency response teams, managing fire and rescue activities during emergency/disaster operations.� This position coordinates, plans, organizes, and implements programs of emergency services training and administers training and education programs associated with firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services in order to ensure students have the skills necessary to carry out job responsibilities.

Fire and/or EMS Experience�
Applicants who do not possess the preferred qualification will still be eligible to compete for this position if job requirements are met.
Associates Degree or Higher
Incumbent must obtain Fire Service Instructor II national certification within 180 days of appointment.
