Job description

The Training and Development (OD) Specialist focuses on the detailed tasks associated with instructing and recording training for employees on everything from duties and responsibilities to cutting‑edge professional development. They utilize OSHA standards along with leadership guidelines and requests from upper management to enhance Clark Pacific’s organizational development curriculum.

Role And Responsibilities
  • Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects, and proprietary information.
  • Deliver course content for company training programs, workshops, and orientations of all employees.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of employee training programs using individual or group performance results.
  • Suggest and implement adjustments to training methods and content to ensure effectiveness and compatibility with company policies and direction.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from training session attendees for use in future improvements to content and presentation.
  • Participate in the development and creation of course content for lesson plans and design training aids.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience And Education
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required. Preferable majors include engineering, business, and education.
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in human resources, business, education, manufacturing, engineering and/or training is preferred.
