Job summary

Bonaventure Senior Living is seeking a Training and Development Coordinator to build a culture of learning across our communities. You will engage team members, design programs, and help them grow to deliver exceptional care.

You will coordinate onboarding, continuous education, and regulatory training, partner with leadership to identify needs, and manage learning technology to track participation and compliance.

Qualifications

• An engaging personality.
• Experience in coordinating training and employee development.
• Experience with regulatory training requirements, onboarding, and learning management systems is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate engaging orientation, onboarding, and ongoing training programs for team members across the company.
• Create a welcoming and supportive onboarding training experience that helps new employees feel confident, connected, and prepared.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to identify training needs and gaps in knowledge and skills.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of engaging and interactive training materials and resources.
• Assist in setting the standards for training program design, delivery, and evaluation.
• Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through data analysis and feedback.
• Support training calendars and ensure departmental training deliverables are met on schedule.
• Utilize learning management systems to enroll employees, track participation, manage completion records, and report on training compliance.
• Monitor mandatory training requirements and send timely reminders to staff to maintain training compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of participation, completion rates, evaluation results, and retraining requirements.
