Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Training & Consultation Specialist for The Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Under the supervision of a faculty member, conducts planning, development, training and technical assistance activities related to best practices in Person-Centered Approaches in Schools and Transition (PCAST). Provides training and technical assistance in Person-Centered Planning (PCP), program design, program implementation and program enhancement to school personnel statewide, with concentration on person-centered approaches for all students with disabilities, especially developmental. Responsibilities include collaborating with the New Jersey Department of Education's Office of Special Education (DOE-OSE) and other Boggs Center personnel conducting training and technical assistance in PCP; developing, planning, and providing trainings; designing and disseminating instructional and other resources; project specific data analysis and reporting; and, responding to requests for information.
