Job summary

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Public Service Administrator of Child Protection Training Academy (Simulations) Staff Development Training Administrator. Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible administrative child welfare experience.
• Three years supervising or conducting child protection services/investigations.
• Three years applying adult learning theories to training simulations.
• Three years managing or conducting training programs for adult learning.
• Three years writing content for curricula and drafting SOPs.
• Three years supervising professional staff in a public or business organization.
• Three years serving as a liaison for a public or business organization.

Responsibilities

• Serves as Child Protection Training Academy (Simulations) Staff Development Training Administrator.
• Develops and implements statewide policies and procedures for all Simulations staff development and training programs.
• Serves as full line supervisor of subordinate staff.
• Develops and implements operational and program plans and budgets statewide consistent with an assessment of ongoing Child Protection Training Academy (Simulations) training needs.
• Defines and directs the development of statewide planning for Child Protection Training Academy (Simulations) training programs to meet the needs of specific departmental divisions and initiatives.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
