Qualifications

• Experience in teaching and adult learning theory.
• Strong attention to detail, computer, writing, and critical thinking skills to evaluate and document recruit performance and activities
• Law enforcement experience in both urban and rural locations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to accomplish the multitude of tasks that are happening simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Teach basic and advanced police training to recruits at the Sitka academy.
• Evaluate recruit performance and document activities in a structured program.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Alaska’s future police officers.
