Job summary

Glen Raven, Inc. is seeking a Training Coordinator to assist in creating and updating training materials and manuals.

The role includes planning and scheduling training for operators and supporting staff across shifts, and providing timely updates to department leaders on trainee performance and safety concerns. The position supports safety documentation, maintains training records, and conducts additional sessions to ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better required.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing and training.
• Must be available for Monday–Friday 7am–4pm with approved overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and preparation of training materials and manuals.
• Plan, schedule and implement training duties for operator and support jobs on each shift.
• Provide Department Section Leaders with timely updates on trainee performance and safety issues.
• Assist in records retention of Training Department documentation.
• Conduct additional training classes to enhance awareness of OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Assist with safety documentation, including training logs and Behavioral Based Safety administration.
• Assist with general HR functions as directed by the Human Resources/Safety Manager.
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to all HR functions.
• Communicate with associates and management personnel.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Assists in the development and preparation of training materials and manuals.
• Plan, schedule and implement training duties for operator and support jobs on each shift.
• Provide Department Section Leaders with timely updates on all related trainee problems or issues relating to trainee performance and/or safety concerns.
• Assist in the records retention of Training Department documentation.
• Conduct additional/special training classes (day and occasional evenings) in order toenhance awarenessof and compliance with OSHA regulations, procedures and/or company policies.
• Assistwith safety documentation, including, but not limited to, safety training, training logs and Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) administration.
• Assist with general HR functions as directed by the Human Resources/Safety Manager.
• Ability to function with a personal computer and utilize Microsoft Windows/Office software.
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a constantly changing environment.
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to all HR functions.
• Ability to communicate/interact with associates and management personnel.
• Ability to perform job duties in a safe manner.

**This position is Monday - Friday, 7am-4pm, with approved overtime.
