Layne's Chicken Fingers is seeking a Corporate Traveling Trainer to drive operational excellence across our Texas restaurants, delivering hands‑on training and reinforcing brand standards while building high‑performing teams.
Based at a home store, the role requires frequent travel to new openings and existing locations to lead in‑store training and ensure consistent execution of company standards.
Come join THE Texas Chicken Finger restaurant...since 1994!
At Layne's Chicken Fingers we take everything seriously except ourselves.
Established in 1994, Layne's is THE "born and breaded in Texas" chicken finger restaurant. The Layne's culture stems from our roots in College Station, where back in 1994, we perfected our chicken finger frying technique. True to our roots, we are a fun, fast paced dynamic team who do not take ourselves seriously, but we take our food and our service EXTREMELY seriously.
The Corporate Traveling Trainer plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across our restaurants. This position supports both their home store and new restaurant openings by delivering hands‑on training, reinforcing brand standards, and developing high‑performing teams.
This role is based out of a home store but requires frequent travel to new and existing locations to lead in‑store training and ensure consistent execution of company standards.

A huge part of who we are and what we are about is our fun loving, non‑corporate environment, so your primary responsibility is to uphold our culture of ensuring everyone has fun while we serve our guests our "Soon to be Famous" chicken fingers.
Why Layne's?
At Layne’s, we don’t just provide great food, fun and fashion sense. We also offer great opportunities for youth in our communities. If you’ve read our History page (if not, you really should – it’s an epic tale filled with heroes, suspense and plot twists), you know that back in 1994, the original Layne’s location gave Mike Garratt his career start and became his extended family. Today, we strive to keep that feeling going and maintain our college-town attitude (well, at least the good parts) as we open more locations.
