Job summary

TITLE Boxing Club International (TBCI) is seeking a Trainer in Lakewood to provide one-on-one, small group, and class-based boxing/kickboxing instruction helping members reach fitness goals. You will guide members through programs, motivate them, and promote memberships and retail.

Ideal candidates coach with energy, deliver customized workouts, and build a loyal client base, while supporting a lively fitness environment with quality customer service and bilingual capabilities if possible.

Qualifications

• Understand the principles of physical fitness and proper exercise technique.
• Able to coach, motivate and inspire members at every stage of their fitness journey.
• Present and sell training.
• Ability to sell memberships, class packs and retail.
• Experience using Club Ready preferred but not required.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build a loyal client base.
• Prior Personal Trainer experience.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.

• Sell memberships, class packs and merchandise to first-time guests.

As a Trainer at TITLE Boxing Club you will work one-on-one, in small groups, and teach boxing, boxing and lifting and kickboxing classes with members to help them achieve their fitness goals. Shift Overview

• Able to teach early morning classes (5:30am) on Mondays and Fridays and a 6:45am Box and Lift class on Fridays
• This shift is $35/class plus attendance bonus but does not have front desk support so coach is responsible for on-boarding all first-times guests and selling memberships, class packs and retail.
• Ideal candidates are also looking to build a personal training book of business which pays out at 50% of session price with at least five hours of weekly availability

Certifications / Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification
• Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Fitness or related field or an approved Personal Training Certification (listed below):
• ACSM, ACE, Cooper Institute for Aerobics Research, C.H.E.K, IFPA, NASM, NCSF, NESTA, NETA, NFPT, NSCA, PTA Global, W.I.T.S.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• The noise level in the environment is occasionally loud
• Extended workdays are a frequent occurrence, as are weekends and holidays as needed to support the business
