Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Familiar with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment.
• Safe use of tools, plant safety rules, probable causes of equipment and systems malfunctions.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills in word-processing, spreadsheet, and database software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of wind turbine systems under supervision.
• Learn maintenance processes: changing filters, greasing components, changing fluids, replacing parts.
• Read meters/gauges and review logs to verify operating conditions.
• Maintain plant area, tools, and equipment in safe condition; complete paperwork and reports.
