Locating, Inc. is hiring a Trainee Locator in Washington to learn safety rules and techniques for finding underground utility lines.

You will work with seasoned locators, use specialized tools, and record findings to help keep construction projects safe and efficient. The role offers on-the-job training, a path to growth, and a benefits package including weekly paychecks, PTO, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, stock purchase plan, and education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable MVR record.

Responsibilities

• Learn utility locating techniques, safety protocols and how to operate equipment.
• Develop an understanding of local utility infrastructure and regulations.
• Partner with experienced Locators to mark underground utility lines.
• Operate utility locating equipment.
• Document findings using digital mapping tools.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
