Job summary

Locating, Inc. is seeking a Trainee Locator to learn safety rules and techniques for locating underground utility lines. You will work with experienced locators, use specialized equipment, and record findings to help keep construction projects safe and efficient.

This entry-level role provides hands-on training, exposure to local regulations, and the opportunity to grow into skilled field work. Must be 18+, eligible to work in the United States, and able to commute to Lynnwood area.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for Locating, Inc.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn utility locating techniques, safety protocols and how to operate equipment.
• Develop an understanding of local utility infrastructure and regulations.
• Partner with experienced Locators to mark underground utility lines.
• Operate utility locating equipment and document findings using digital mapping tools.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
