Locating, Inc. is hiring a Trainee Locator in Bothell, WA. This entry‑level role focuses on learning safety rules and techniques to locate underground utility lines, using specialized tools, and recording findings to support safe and efficient construction projects.

You will work with seasoned locators, grow your knowledge of local utility infrastructure, and contribute to accurate mapping and documentation while handling varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), with an acceptable MVR record.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Learn utility locating techniques, safety protocols and how to operate equipment.
• Develop an understanding of local utility infrastructure and regulations.
• Partner with experienced Locators to mark underground utility lines.
• Operate utility locating equipment; document findings using digital mapping tools.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
