Job summary

Silvertip Completion Services in Alaska is seeking a Pump Truck Operator to support pressure pumping and completion services. Under direct supervision, you will rig up and operate the pump truck, assist in shop and wellsite tasks, and maintain equipment records.

The role requires stamina for 12+ hour shifts, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety regulations. Silvertip is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 1 year oilfield experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Able to safely perform duties during 12+ hour shifts in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install and disassemble pumps and data recording equipment per manufacturer standards.
• Assemble, secure, and disconnect equipment as needed.
• Monitor, evaluate, and adjust processes to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot pump truck and equipment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including FMCSA standards.
• Perform shipping, loading, and unloading duties as required.
• Document identity and quantity of all equipment; keep operation records.
• Provide support to crew and liaise with technicians on equipment issues.

Job Summary

Under direct supervision, responsible for the safe execution of operations in all aspects of Pressure pumping and completion services which may include, but is not limited to, rigging up the truck at the service location, assisting with all operations both in the shop and at the wellsite. Operates and maintains the assigned pump truck and equipment, as well as keeps records for the overall operation.

Responsibilities

• Installation / disassembly (rig up/rig down) of pumps and data recording equipment in accordance with original manufacturer’s standards including verification of applicable certifications.
• Assembles, secures, and disconnects equipment.
• Monitors, evaluates, and adjusts processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate industry standards.
• Performs a combination of shipping, loading, and unloading duties.
• Follows all standard shipping practices and procedures in full compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including additional transportation routing and scheduling requirements.
• Verifies and document’s identity and quantity of all equipment.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots pump truck and equipment including diagnostics, as well as keeps records for the overall operation.
• Ensures compliance with all regulations applicable to pressure pumping operations Clean and maintain company vehicles, tools, & equipment; Troubleshoot tool, equipment, and truck problems; Rebuild pumps in the shop and in the field Provides support to crew members with operations on and off location and liaises with technicians on equipment failure Other job duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• 1 year oilfield experience is preferred
• You Must be 21 Years or Older
• Knowledge of transferring pumps and fueling process preferred
• Maintaining a current and valid driver’s is required
• Able to safely preform duties during a 12+ hour work shift that will include day, nights, weekends, holidays, and extreme weather conditions
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds independently while walking on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout the work shift
• Strong work ethic
• Can perform well in high stress environments and meet time-sensitive deadlines which may include emergency response situations
• Can work effectively on a team as well as independently
