Job summary

Silvertip Completion Services in Midland, TX, is seeking an operator to support safe execution of pressure pumping and completion services. Under direct supervision, you will rig up and rig down pumps, operate and maintain the pump truck, and record data for each job.

This role requires willingness to work 12+ hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends and holidays, with lifting up to 50 pounds. You must have a valid driver's license and basic knowledge of transferring pumps and fueling.

Qualifications

• 1 year oilfield experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Knowledge of transferring pumps and fueling process preferred.
• Able to perform duties during 12+ hour shifts including day, night, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Install/disassemble pumps and data recording equipment per manufacturer standards and certify as needed.
• Monitor and adjust processes to maximize quality and efficiency while following safety guidelines.
• Perform shipping, loading, and unloading duties in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot pump truck and equipment and keep records for operations.

Job Description

Under direct supervision, responsible for the safe execution of operations in all aspects of Pressure pumping and completion services which may include, but is not limited to, rigging up the truck at the service location, assisting with all operations both in the shop and at the wellsite. Operates and maintains the assigned pump truck and equipment, as well as keeps records for the overall operation.

Responsibilities

• Installation / disassembly (rig up/rig down) of pumps and data recording equipment in accordance with original manufacturer’s standards including verification of applicable certifications. Assembles, secures, and disconnects equipment.
• Monitors, evaluates, and adjusts processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency. Tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate industry standards.
• Performs a combination of shipping, loading, and unloading duties. Follows all standard shipping practices and procedures in full compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including additional transportation routing and scheduling requirements. Verifies and document’s identity and quantity of all equipment.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots pump truck and equipment including diagnostics, as well as keeps records for the overall operation. Ensures compliance with all regulations applicable to pressure pumping operations
• Clean and maintain company vehicles, tools, & equipment; Troubleshoot tool, equipment, and truck problems; Rebuild pumps in the shop and in the field
• Provides support to crew members with operations on and off location and liaises with technicians on equipment failure
• Other job duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• 1 year oilfield experience is preferred
• You Must be 21 Years or Older
• Knowledge of transferring pumps and fueling process preferred
• Maintaining a current and valid driver’s is required
• Able to safely preform duties during a 12+ hour work shift that will include day, nights, weekends, holidays, and extreme weather conditions
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds independently while walking on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout the work shift
• Strong work ethic
• Can perform well in high stress environments and meet time-sensitive deadlines which may include emergency response situations
• Can work effectively on a team as well as independently
