Job summary

Integra in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Controls Associate, a development-track role reporting to the Project Controls Manager. You will apply core Project Controls principles across cost, schedule, progress, change, risk, and reporting while rotating through office-based training before field assignments.

You will gain hands-on experience with Costpoint, Procore, Primavera P6, Power BI, and Excel, supported by mentorship and a defined progression toward Cost Lead, Scheduler, or Project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, finance, or related field.
• 0–5 years of experience; internships considered.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; aptitude for learning Procore, Power BI, and ERP cost systems.
• Strong analytical mindset with comfort working with large data sets.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail; ability to manage recurring deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to ask questions in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the integration of cost, schedule, and progress into a single, reliable view of project performance.
• Maintain project data within the approved WBS and CBS.
• Apply SOPs and monthly controls calendar for consistent, on-time deliverables.
• Assist with budget setup, actuals loading and validation, commitment tracking, and accrual preparation.
• Support development of ETC and EAC, including variance identification and month-over-month analysis.
• Reconcile cost data with Finance & Accounting and escape discrepancies.
• Support schedule updates, milestone tracking, and identification of schedule-driven cost impacts.
• Collect and verify progress data from the field; maintain progress curves and productivity reporting.
• Maintain change logs and assist in documenting cost/schedule impacts of changes.
• Prepare internal and client-facing reports and dashboards; translate data into clear narratives.
