Finlay Jude Associates Limited is recruiting a Trainee Field Technician to cover the local area. You will be trained to locate leaks on underground water networks, with nights on a 40-hour week schedule (Mon-Thu).

The role includes extensive training (6–12 months), a company van and fuel card, and good progression opportunities as you gain on-site experience and data skills.

Qualificações

• Full clean driving licence required.
• Interest in water industry and field technician work.
• Basic computer skills to upload data onto a laptop.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in detailed surveys to identify type and location of water leakage.
• Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection services.
• Assist in survey/project work beyond daily leak detection.
• Complete paperwork accurately (timesheets, survey forms, leak details).
• Possess basic computer skills for data upload.

My client is recruiting for Trainee Field Technicians who will be covering your local area.

The successful candidate will be trained to find water leaks on the underground water networks.

This role is working Nights - 40 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)

This is a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.

Trainee Field Technician responsibilities:

• To assist in detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leakage
• Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection services
• Assist in survey work/project work not normally associated with day-to-day leak detection
• To assist in adequate and accurate completion of all paperwork (including time sheets, survey forms, leak details and other duties as required
• Possess basic computer skills as you will be uploading data onto a laptop
• It is essential that you hold a full and valid driving licence as you are required to drive for the role

Full training will be given on the following:

• EUSR Water Hygiene Training

This Trainee Field Technician role would suit candidates with the following:

• Drivers / Driving (Multi Drop, Meter Readers, Delivery Drivers)
• People with a manual working/outdoor background
