Job summary

Goetze Dental in Springfield, MO, is seeking a Field Service Technician Trainee to install, repair, and maintain dental equipment across southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. You will train under an experienced senior technician, ride along on calls, and gradually take on an independent territory.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of mechanical, trade, or technical experience.
• Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Ride alongside a senior technician on every call during training.
• Assist with on-site installation, repair, and maintenance of dental equipment.
• Build diagnostic skills with a mentor.
• Assist customers with equipment use and care training.
• Serve as on-site support for remote IT technicians when needed.
• Complete work orders and job documentation accurately.
• Attend manufacturer and company training to deepen expertise.
• Transition to independent territory and company van upon full competency.
