Job summary

ALTA Performance Materials US, LLC in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a Chemical Blender/Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will transfer base resins, blend to specifications, and maintain logs while following safety procedures.

Requirements include a High School Diploma with basic math and science, ability to lift heavy loads, operate pumps and mixers, and work 40–50 hours per week with a 4 AM start. Forklift certification and SAP experience are desirable assets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with basic math and science.
• Willingness to work 40–50 hours per week with 4 AM start.
• Able to perform heavy lifting (30–75 lbs) and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Transfer base resins to blends in process tanks per specs; maintain logs.
• Weigh and measure chemicals/additives; document batches.
• Dispose of hazardous waste per procedures; ensure compliance.
• Safely handle materials with required PPE and safety procedures.
• Use scales to adjust batches for color/tinting; monitor temperature.
• Add raw materials to base resin batches; control mixer speeds.
• Safely drive forklift and perform daily forklift checks.
