Job summary

Northern is seeking a Train Presentation Supervisor Shifts to lead and motivate on-site teams across multiple depots. You will guide, support, and set standards, ensuring trains look and perform at their best while maintaining safety and efficiency.

This role requires strong communication, decision-making, and a calm, structured approach. A full UK driving licence and COSHH awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and supervising teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong, patient communicator able to support diverse teams.
• Able to hold people to account fairly and effectively.
• Confident decision maker and clear communicator.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and digital tools.
• Full, clean UK driving licence (2+ years).
• Understanding health and safety basics (COSHH).

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and organise train presentation teams across multiple depots.
• Be a visible presence on site, check in with teams, ensure standards are met.
• Manage rotas, site visits, inspections, and performance checks.
• Coach teams to take pride in their work and build confidence.
• Travel between sites to support operations.
• Handle absence, performance, and behaviours with fairness.
• Admin tasks: diary management, meetings, room bookings.
• Write letters, updates, and feedback per policy.
• Ensure documentation is clear and on time.
