Job summary

Egisgroup in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Train Control Expert to define, manage, and assure system-wide data requirements for High-Speed Rail subsystems. You will support data exchanges across Train Control, TMS, SCADA, and Telecom, drive ICD development, and ensure data integrity for integration and operations.

The role requires a strong background in data modelling, standards, and real-time data management, with emphasis on cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in a relevant engineering field; advanced certifications preferred.
• 10+ years in rail, infrastructure, or complex systems projects.
• Experience with High-Speed Rail systems is desirable.
• Professional Engineer license and INCOSE membership are expected but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain system data requirements, data models, and data dictionaries.
• Specify and manage data interfaces across Train Control, TMS, SCADA, Telecom, and Key Management systems.
• Develop and support ICDs with clear data definitions for integration.
• Define data flows, governance, and validation rules across subsystems.
• Ensure data consistency, integrity, and interoperability and support testing and commissioning.
