Job summary

Lennox International seeks an experienced yard operations associate to safely move trailers within the distribution center yard, spot trailers at loading docks, and coordinate trailer movements with warehouse staff. You will inspect yard equipment, maintain trailer inventory, and support loading/unloading activities in outdoor conditions.

The role requires 1–3 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license (CDL may be required), and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Minimum 1–3 years related experience.
• Experience operating yard trucks or similar equipment in a logistics or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers between dock doors, staging areas, and parking locations.
• Spot trailers at designated dock doors for loading and unloading.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of yard truck and report issues.
• Maintain accurate trailer inventory and yard organization.
• Communicate with warehouse personnel, dispatchers, and supervisors to coordinate movements.
• Ensure safety policies and company rules are followed; assist with minor trailer maintenance.
• Monitor yard conditions and report hazards or inefficiencies.
