Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Capitol Heights, MD is seeking a Switcher I to move full and empty trailers, supporting inbound unloading and outbound loading in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner. You will inspect trailers for issues and tag out as needed, communicating with warehouse management.

The role may require operating a forklift or PIT equipment and lifting up to 75 lbs, with flexibility to work in a noisy, non-climate controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport full and empty trailers between docks and drop parking spaces.
• Inspect trailers for mechanical issues and safety hazards before moving.
• Maintain organization of the trailer yard for safe, efficient transport.
• Keep work area and warehouse clean and safe.
• Assist with pallet building and related tasks as requested.
