Job summary
MAC Trailer in Alliance, OH is seeking an experienced welder to join our production team. The role focuses on welding aluminum and steel components for our tractor trailer products, using MIG welding and various hand tools.
You will read drawings, follow specifications, and maintain a safe, clean work area. The position offers a steady full-time schedule (Mon-Thu 7am–5:30pm) with overtime opportunities and a competitive wage range.
Qualifications
- Welds aluminum and steel per specs with quality workmanship.
- Completes weld tests and demonstrates basic math and measurement skills.
- Reads and interprets drawings and specifications clearly.
- Works well in a team and follows safety procedures.
- Maintains a clean, safe, productive work area.
Responsibilities
- Weld aluminum and steel parts for tractor trailers.
- Review specifications and drawings; follow safety guidelines.
- Communicate safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Keep work area organized and materials stocked.
- Operate tools and equipment; assist in other duties as needed.
- Potentially learn additional MIG welding skills.
