Job summary

TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) is hiring a Semi-Trailer Technician/Mechanic for the SECOND SHIFT in Memphis, TN. The role focuses on diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repair across dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, and other trailers, including braking, suspension, and electrical systems.

You will follow DOT and safety standards while keeping fleets moving efficiently. We offer weekly pay, a sign-on/retention bonus, quarterly bonuses, comprehensive benefits, and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

Experience as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Diesel Technician, or Fleet Technician.
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on trailer repair and maintenance experience.
Knowledge of brake, suspension, hydraulics, electrical systems, and DOT requirements.
Ability to use shop tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding/fabrication tools.
Ability to lift and move heavy trailer components.
Commitment to a safe work environment and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on trailers.
Perform preventive maintenance and routine trailer servicing.
Repair or replace brake systems, suspensions, axles, landing gear, and wheel-end components.
Troubleshoot lighting and electrical systems.
Document repairs and maintain accurate work orders.
Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
Communicate repair needs with supervisors and team.
