Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking an experienced Trailer Technician in Hooker, Oklahoma to perform routine maintenance and repairs on Class 8 trailers and related vehicles. The role involves tire maintenance, service calls, inspections, and ensuring safety and longevity of assets.

Adherence to Transdev standards is required, with opportunities for ASE training and reimbursement for tools. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (vocational certification preferred), a Class B CDL

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair.
Class B CDL with passenger endorsement preferred.
ASE Certification preferred; willing to obtain 1 ASE within 24 months of hire.
0-1 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on Class 8 trailers and other vehicles.
Assist with preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and annual inspections.
Maintain records of maintenance and parts used; ensure work orders are accurate.
Diagnose and perform vehicle repairs under supervision; escalate as needed.
Assist with road calls and emergency services as required.
