Job summary

Transdev North America in Rolla, KS is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and some non-routine maintenance on Class 8 trucks and pickups, with safety as a priority.

The role includes tire maintenance, service calls, inspections, and both basic and advanced repairs under supervision. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and relevant certifications; DOT and safety standards apply. Great benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair is preferred.
• Class B CDL with air brake endorsement is preferred.
• State inspection license may be required.
• ASE Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicle safety by performing limited repairs and moderate supervision on basic and advanced maintenance tasks.
• Perform mechanical repairs with moderate supervision, including brakes and engine tune-ups, suspensions and drive trains.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, and ensure work orders are completed properly.
• Assist with preventative maintenance, safety inspections and annual maintenance at prescribed intervals.
• Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary.
• Adhere to Transdev standards, policies and procedures.
• Move vehicles safely between job and work area.
• Repair and maintain all shop equipment.
