Job summary

FleetPride, Inc. in Independence, KY is seeking a Trailer Technician for the 2nd shift to repair trailers and perform chassis work, including brake jobs, welding, torch cutting, and parts replacement.

The position requires a High School Diploma or vocational training; welding experience is a plus. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a background and drug test. On-site work with mixed indoor/outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Vocational certificate or relevant work experience accepted.
• Carpentry fabrication and welding are a plus.
• Welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, repairs, builds and rebuilds trailer equipment.
• Performs maintenance, troubleshoots and inspects equipment.
• Tests equipment for proper operations.
• Brake jobs and suspension work as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
