Job summary

FleetPride in Rogers, MN is seeking a Trailer Technician to diagnose, repair and rebuild trailer components, including brakes and suspension. The role requires hands-on fabrication, welding and a readiness to work indoors and outdoors.

You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, test operations and ensure a safe work environment. A high school diploma or vocational training is expected, with welding experience preferred and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training preferred.
• Relevant work experience may substitute formal training.
• Welding experience is a plus.

Trailer Technician will repair trailers and perform all types of chassis repairs including brake jobs, welding, cutting with a torch and repairing and replacing parts on the chassis using standard repair tools. Some minor container repairs, patches, door latches and hinges type of work.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Carpentry fabrication and welding are a plus
• Welding experience
