Job summary

FleetPride is seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Trailer Mechanic in Louisville to service a wide range of trailers, perform bodywork and repairs, and keep equipment road-ready.

This Monday-Friday role offers a predictable schedule (no weekends), competitive hourly pay ($18.00-$30.00), weekly pay, and day-one benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match. CDL is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of heavy-duty trailer bodywork and mechanical repair experience.
• Own tools and toolbox; valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and safety-focused work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Work on a wide variety of heavy-duty trailers, keeping equipment safe and road-ready.
• Perform repairs and bodywork to keep fleets in top condition.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

You'll work on a wide variety of heavy-duty trailers, keeping equipment safe, road-ready, and operating at its best.

Experience with the following is preferred:

• Brake repairs.
• Air system repairs.
• Axle work.
• Welding.
• Torch cutting.
• Container repairs.
• Trailer patches.
• Door repairs & replacements.
• Reefer repairs.
• Roof, wall & floor repairs.
• Heavy-duty trailer mechanical repairs.
• Trailer bodywork.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• 3+ years of heavy-duty trailer bodywork and mechanical repair experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Your own tools and toolbox.
• Valid driver's license.
• CDL is a plus, but not required.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
