Job summary

Northwest Truck & Trailer in Fargo, ND is seeking a Trailer Technician to join our team. You will repair trailers, including air, brake, electrical systems, and other mechanical tasks, in compliance with factory and DOT specs.

Daily work uses hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or mechanical trade training, or 2 years trailer technician experience. We value teamwork, safety, and the ability to read instructions.

Responsibilities

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Sign-On Bonus: $2,500-$5,000 DOE

Job Summary

Northwest Truck & Trailer is in search of a Trailer Technician to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for repairs to the trailer, including air, brake, electrical systems or other repairs.

Trailers will be repaired in accordance with factory, dealerships & D.O.T. specifications by performing job tasks using hand and power tools and welders.

What We’re Looking For

• Completion of mechanical trade school program preferred, or a minimum of 2 years of trailer technician experience
• Must work effectively as an individual and contribute well to a team
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, information, and knowledge of truck trailer repairs

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair trailer systems including

• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs.
