Job summary

U-Haul in Wyoming, MI is seeking a Trailer and SRI Repair Specialist to maintain and repair trailers and Ford/GMC trucks. You will work on a production line, use U-Haul’s proprietary pre-inspection and repair checklist, and join a team with a long‑standing family atmosphere.

Minimum qualifications include basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of repair experience, plus a valid driver’s license. You should be able to work well in a team or alone.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of repair experience preferred.
• Driver’s license required.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.

Responsibilities

• Secure trailers on lifts and dollies.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Rebuild and repair braking systems and trailer components.
• Dismount, balance and mount tires.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Work on a production line.
• Use proprietary electronic pre-inspection and repair checklist.
• Lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following supervisor guidance.
