Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Trailer and SRI Repair Specialist to maintain our latest fleet of trailers and trucks. As part of a first-class team, you will perform on-vehicle repairs, tire work, and braking system maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition for customers.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of repair experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Driver’s license required.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Basic computer skills helpful.
• Regular attendance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Secure trailers on lifts and dollies.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Rebuild and repair braking systems and trailer components.
• Dismount, balance and mount tires.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Work on a production line as needed.
• Use proprietary electronic pre-inspection and repair checklist.
• Lend assistance in additional areas as directed by supervision.
