Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Trailer and SRI Repair Specialist in Cincinnati, OH. You will maintain U-Haul trailers and Ford/GMC trucks, perform inspections, and support a fast-paced production line.

Training programs from Ford, GM, and U-Haul help you grow, with tools provided to succeed in a family-oriented team. Minimum qualifications include basic mechanical aptitude, 1–2 years of repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude required.
• 1–2 years repair experience preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team or individually.
• Driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Secure trailers on lifts and dollies.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Rebuild and repair braking systems and trailer components.
• Dismount, balance and mount tires.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Work on a production line.
• Use proprietary electronic pre-inspection and repair checklist.
• Assist in other areas as directed by supervisor.
