Job summary

The Spotter at NFI drives, transports and spots trailers at loading docks or staging areas. You will attach drive units to trailers and move them to and from dock doors for loading and unloading.

Qualifications include at least 2 years in a similar role, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication, analytical, and customer service abilities. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k and PTO.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Computer applications experience using MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Must be able to follow policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Attach drive unit to trailers to move to and from dock doors for loading and unloading.
• Inspects truck for defects, before and after trips and submits reports indicating truck condition.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Other duties as assigned.
