Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Yard Spotter in the United States to drive, transport, and spot trailers at loading docks and staging areas. You will attach drive units to trailers and assist with loading and unloading, ensuring safety and efficiency at the dock.

The role requires reliable communication, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently, with consideration for safety policies and procedures. Base pay is competitive with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Must be able to follow policies and safety procedures.
• May be required to operate power industrial equipment.
• Computer applications experience using MS Office.
• Performs duties as instructed by management.

Responsibilities

• Attach drive unit to trailers to move to and from dock doors for loading and unloading.
• Inspect truck for defects, before and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Other duties as assigned.
