Job summary

Walmart is seeking a skilled Trailer Refrigeration Technician in Robinson, TX to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on TRUs and related trailer systems. You will diagnose electrical problems, maintain interior and exterior trailer components, and ensure safety and compliance with DOT standards.

Responsibilities include servicing tractors and trailers, wiring, brakes, and inflation checks while documenting work orders.

Qualifications

3 years' experience in trailer refrigeration maintenance and repair (e.g. diagnostic and component replacement)
EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Handling Certification
Valid state-issued driver's license.
Brake inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.25.
Vehicle Inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.19.

Responsibilities

Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on TRU systems and related trailer components following OEM procedures.
Maintains and repairs trailers including electrical wiring, lighting, doors, floors, and interior panels.
Ensures compliance with DOT guidelines, documents work orders and warranty considerations.
Assists other technicians with equipment repair and maintenance as needed.
