Job summary

TrailersPlus in Lakeside, CA seeks a Parts & Service Technician to support a profitable parts and service department while maintaining a clean, safe facility. This role handles inbound/outbound inventory, trailer servicing, and product demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus 6–12 months of related experience.
• Forklift and tractor operation with company certifications as required.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating/maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily parts sales, service work, inventory control, and deliveries.
• Assist management with service, parts/accessories installations, and warranty work.
• Receive delivery of trailers, parts, supplies, and submit paperwork for review.
• Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and Post-Labor Inspections (PLI).
• Use a consultative selling process to match customer needs with parts and services.
• Maintain store facilities and trailers for safety and professional appearance.
• Perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and daily inspections of equipment.
• Verify invoicing of trailers, parts, and labor during PDI/PLI.
• Assist Store Management in generating leads in the local market.
• Safely operate forklift and tractor; power tools use with certifications.
