Job summary

TrailersPlus, a division of Interstate Group, is seeking a Service Repair Technician in California to support parts and service, perform inspections, and assist with trailer demonstrations.

The role involves inventory control, warranty work, and coordinating with management to ensure high quality service and customer satisfaction. Strong mechanical skills and a safety-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 6 months to 1 year related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, safety rules, and procedures; good math skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily processes including parts sales, service work, inventory control, receiving products, and customer deliveries.
• Assist management with service, parts/accessories installations, and warranty work.
• Receive trailer, parts and supplies and submit paperwork to management for review.
• Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and Post- Labor Inspections (PLI).
• Use consultative selling to match customer needs with parts and service during PDI/PLI process.
• Maintain store facilities and trailers for safety, security, and professional appearance.
• Perform preventative and daily maintenance, minor repairs, and inspections of equipment and vehicles.
• Verify invoicing of trailers, parts, and labor during PDI/PLI.
• Collaborate with management and other departments; attend required meetings.
• Investigate and assist with warranty, repair, and facility problems.
