Job summary

A Los Angeles based trailer music house is looking for an experienced trailer music representative to grow placements. The successful candidate will build relationships with trailer houses, editors, and marketing teams, proactively pitching music for various campaigns. Candidates should have established industry contacts, negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently, preferably based in Los Angeles with a commission-based or hybrid compensation structure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in music representation with track record of securing placements.
• Strong relationships with industry professionals in trailer houses and marketing.
• Comfortable negotiating placements and driving new business independently.
• Strong negotiation skills and understanding of sync licensing structures.
• Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable driving new business independently.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with trailer houses and music supervisors.
• Proactively pitch music for active campaigns and generate sync opportunities.

• Manage negotiations and contracts as part of placements.

Los Angeles based preferred. Candidates outside Los Angeles must be willing to relocate.

Experience

Proven experience representing composers, music houses, or sync catalogs.Established relationships with trailer houses, editors, music supervisors, and marketing teams.Track record of securing placements in theatrical, streaming, or TV promo campaigns.Strong negotiation skills and understanding of sync licensing structures.Self directed, proactive, and comfortable driving new business independently.
