Pinnacle Equipment LLC in Gold River, CA is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain our trailer fleet. You will work mainly in the shop and yard, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on brakes, electrical, suspension, hydraulic, and structural systems to keep the fleet roadworthy.

This role requires hands-on experience, the ability to read repair manuals and schematics, and a valid California CDL or license is preferred; flexibility for varying

Qualificações

• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience repairing trailers, heavy-duty trucks, or similar equipment.
• Must read and interpret repair manuals, schematics, and technical specs.
• Valid California driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and Cal/OSHA safety regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair trailers and related systems (brakes, suspension, axles, tires, lighting, and electrical).
• Perform preventive maintenance and annual inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair air brake, hydraulic, and refrigeration (reefer) units as applicable.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair trailer frames and structures.
• Move and road test trailers to verify repair quality and documentation in MCM system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Cal/OSHA and company policies.
