Job summary

Transervice Logistics Inc. in Linden, NJ is seeking a Trailer Mechanic/Technician to diagnose and repair trailer equipment, perform inspections, and ensure DOT-compliant maintenance. You will handle air brakes, electrical, hydraulics, tires and suspension while maintaining a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing trailer equipment.
• Must have experience with air brakes.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections per DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair all assigned trailer equipment.
• Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to determine trailer condition.
• Perform repairs on air, hydraulic systems, tires, suspension, and electrical.
• Complete state and federal safety inspections as required by DOT.
• Perform routine maintenance on trailers.

Heated Shop, Well LIghted

• You will maintain proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of all assigned trailer equipment
• Determine trailer condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
• Must have experience with air brakes
• Perform system repairs to include air and hydraulic systems, tires, suspension, electrical.
• Perform all preventive maintenance inspections, state and federal mandated safety inspections and complete repairs in accordance with DOT requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance on trailers
• Monday thru Friday
• Weekends OFF!!!
• 11:00 AMto 7:30 PM)
• PLUS OVERTIME!!!
