Position Summary:
Perform DOT & PM inspections on trailers, repair or replace damaged parts, weld and fabricate, and ensure timely completion of work with accurate records.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess mechanical, electrical, and other repair needs
- Perform DOT & PM inspections accurately
- Diagnose and repair foundation brake and air systems
- Weld and fabricate steel and aluminum components
- Repair electrical systems, wiring, lighting, ABS, etc.
- Assist customers on service calls
- Complete all related documentation properly
- Maintain professional and courteous interactions
- Use proper PPE and keep work areas clean
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License, CDL preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Self-motivated with good communication skills
