Position Summary:

Perform DOT & PM inspections on trailers, repair or replace damaged parts, weld and fabricate, and ensure timely completion of work with accurate records.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess mechanical, electrical, and other repair needs
• Perform DOT & PM inspections accurately
• Diagnose and repair foundation brake and air systems
• Weld and fabricate steel and aluminum components
• Repair electrical systems, wiring, lighting, ABS, etc.
• Assist customers on service calls
• Complete all related documentation properly
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions
• Use proper PPE and keep work areas clean
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License, CDL preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Self-motivated with good communication skills
