Job summary

XPO is seeking a Trailer Mechanic in Phoenix, AZ. You will perform routine maintenance on trailers, diagnose issues, and repair systems while adhering to DOT and company schedules. You’ll inspect equipment, use specialized tools, and document work performed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable experience in heavy-duty maintenance or entry-level technician role.
• Able to perform safety inspections and document findings.
• Available for days, evenings, nights, and weekends shifts.
• Brake inspection and vehicle inspection qualifications per FMCSA rules.
• Basic hand tools required for maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on trailing equipment per schedules and regulations.
• Inspect, access, and repair trailer systems as needed.
• Ensure safe, clean, organized work area and compliance with DOT and OSHA rules.
• Record job times and parts used on repair orders; operate hostler and tooling.
